Washington DC Field Trip

The 2019 SusQ-Cyber Charter School field trip will be to Washington DC.  Please carefully read all of the details and information.  The link to RSVP is at the bottom of this article.


Location:  Washington, DC - Smithsonian Natural History and Air and Space museums

Date:  Friday, April 26, 2019

Departure Location:  Big Lots, Bloomsburg, PA

Departure Time:  7:00AM (Please plan on arriving between 6:30AM and 6:45AM to ensure an on time departure.)

RSVP Deadline:  Thursday, April 18, 2019.  Space is limited on the bus.  Seats will be filled on a first come-first served basis.  Reservations will close early if all of the seats are sold prior to the deadline.

Return Time:  9:30PM

Cost:  $44.00 per person

**Guests will be responsible for the full cost of the trip.  The cost for SusQ-Cyber students will be less depending on availablility of funds and the results of fundraisers.  Please wait until you are contacted before sending payment. 

**  Students may bring one (1) guest along on the trip.  Guests need to be 18 years of age and older.  Guests who are under 18 years of age require a responsible invididual who is over age 18 and will be considered on a an individual basis based on space available.  If a student wishes to bring more than one (1) guest, the request will be considered on an individual basis based on available space.

** Crusader Cash may be used to offset part of the cost of the trip.

** Fee waivers are available for students based on financial need.

** Fundraising opportunities are available to help offset the cost.

** Students must meet academic eligibility requirements.  Final decisions regarding academic eligibility will be made by the CEO.

** Lunch can be purchased in the museum cafés or from local vendors close to the museums.  Bag lunches are also permitted.

** Outside food and drinks cannot be taken into the museums.

** Everyone must pass through a security screening before entering each museum.
